RPP JK launches Mahakumbh registration, urges Jammuites for maximum participation

Jammu, Dec 22: Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad, Jammu & Kashmir, has officially launched the registration process for the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela, encouraging the people of Jammu to participate in this grand spiritual event, which symbolizes unity, cultural heritage, and national pride. The event marks a significant step in the organization’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the cause of Hindutva and promote the values imparted by Shri Bhagwan Parshuram Ji, who is revered for his role in safeguarding Bharat from the excesses of antisocial and anti-national elements of that time.
The event began with an organizational meeting convened by the Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad, Jammu & Kashmir unit, under the chairmanship of its president Pt JN Sharma, with a focus on inspiring and awakening the local community, especially the younger generation, to embrace the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma. Pt JN Sharma, the President of the Parishad, highlighted the urgency of reviving and strengthening the values of peace, progress, and prosperity that are integral to Sanatan Dharma. He emphasized that these ideals could guide the nation to a brighter future, united in its diversity.
During the meeting, Pt JN Sharma also provided an overview of the organization’s objectives and its commitment to fostering a sense of national pride and unity. He made it clear that Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad is a non-political, social, cultural, and religious organization, with a vision to bring people together across India. The Parishad, founded by the visionary Pt. Sunil Bharala, operates with the leadership of Ajay Kumar Jha as the National President and has a growing membership across various states of the country.
The meeting commenced with auspicious Sanskrit shlokas recited by Shastri Sham Khajuria Ji, invoking the blessings of Shri Bhagwan Parshuram Ji.
Pt Raman Kumar Thappa, the organizing secretary, spoke at length about the Parishad’s plans to expand its presence in Jammu & Kashmir. He explained that this was the first organizational meeting in the region, and there was an enthusiastic response from all communities in the Union Territory. The organization aims to expand its outreach to other districts of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly focusing on strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity.
The event also saw presentations from key members, including vice presidents Pt RC Sharma and Pt Bipin Kumar Dubey, who discussed the launch of an online membership drive for Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad. With the creation of a dedicated online platform, Jammuites can now register as members through the website (www.rashtriyaparshuramparishad.com/membership). The toll-free numbers 9999145912 and 9999145920 were also provided for assistance with the registration process.
As part of the Parishad’s growing initiatives, Pt JN Sharma revealed the organization’s ongoing efforts to build a temple of Shri Parshuram Ji in Janpav, a village near Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where the revered saint is believed to have been born. This marks a significant milestone in the Parishad’s mission to honor the legacy of Shri Parshuram Ji.
The major highlight of the meeting was the discussion surrounding the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj. The Parishad has made extensive arrangements to provide free accommodation and food for all registered devotees attending the Mela. This effort aims to facilitate participation from across the country, particularly for those seeking spiritual solace and a chance to be part of this historic event. The Mahakumbh Mela is not only a sacred religious gathering but also a testament to India’s rich cultural heritage and its ability to unite people despite challenges. It stands as a shining example of national strength, cultural richness, and divine power.
To ensure a smooth experience for devotees attending the Mela, the organization has appointed Mahakumbh Prabhari for various districts of Jammu & Kashmir, including Rajouri, Reasi, Samba, Jammu, and Udhampur. The designated members will assist in the online registration process and encourage people to participate in the Mahakumbh, which is considered one of the largest religious and cultural gatherings in the world.
Pt Rattan Kumar Tikoo, vice president, will represent the Kashmir region in this effort. Special guest Mr Yag Dev Chamoli, a renowned scholar of Hindu Dharma and an expert in Information Systems, was also introduced at the meeting. He will take charge of the digital outreach of the organization, helping spread the message of Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad to a wider audience through online platforms.
Other prominent figures who attended the meeting included Pt Opinder Sharma (ABVP member), Pt Atul Sharma, Pt Pawan Parkash Sharma, Prof Lalit Gaind, Shastri Sham Khajuria, Pt Pawan Kumar, Mr Ramesh Chander, and Prof Sameer Khajuria, all of whom voiced their support for the ongoing initiatives and called for increased participation in the Mahakumbh Mela.
