J&K Showcases Digital Governance Roadmap at DARPG Workshop

New Delhi, Sept 18: Jammu and Kashmir showcased its digital governance initiatives and roadmap for scaling online public services at a workshop on Special e-Governance Projects organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) in New Delhi.
Commissioner/Secretary, Information Technology Department, J&K, Saurabh Bhagat, IAS, along with the State e-Mission Team (SeMT), made a presentation and demonstration on the Roadmap for Scaling Digital Service Delivery.
The presentation highlighted J&K’s expanding portfolio of online services, digital platforms and institutional mechanisms aimed at improving accessibility and efficiency in government service delivery.
J&K also highlighted its technology partnership with BISAG-N, covering more than 40 technology-driven departmental initiatives across various sectors. The AI Centre of Excellence in J&K and its potential applications in public service delivery and administrative decision-making were also showcased.
The workshop, organised under the State Collaboration Initiative, brought together representatives from North-Eastern States and the Union Territory of Ladakh for sharing e-governance practices and digital solutions.
The event provided a platform for inter-State learning and exchange of experiences on strengthening citizen-centric digital governance.
