Jammu: In a notable development in the sphere of cultural governance and national reform, eminent IITian and Vedic scholar Pt Jeevanand Sharma formally assumed charge as the National Vice President of the Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad (RPP) at its Delhi headquarters. Marking the commencement of his tenure, Sharma asserted that empowering the youth with a resolute “Nation First” approach will remain the central focus of his leadership in advancing nation-building efforts.
He announced that a comprehensive nationwide action plan will soon be launched to actively engage, train, and mobilize young leaders across the country. As part of this initiative, a holistic “farm-to-kitchen” model based on organic farming will be developed to revitalize rural ecosystems and generate sustainable opportunities. Sharma also emphasized the need for aligning the national education policy with the foundational ethos of Sanatan Sanskriti to nurture value-driven leadership.
To translate this vision into action, Sharma introduced a structured three-pronged programme. The first focuses on reforming the education system in line with Sanatan values to create morally strong, nation-first individuals. The second aims at promoting employment through organic farming by strengthening village economies and agricultural potential. The third pillar highlights the advancement of scientific and innovative knowledge to encourage indigenous research and curb brain drain.
Highlighting the importance of collective efforts, Sharma stated that a strong collaborative network of academicians, spiritual leaders, and entrepreneurs will be established to drive this initiative. He noted that civil society and cultural organizations must play a vital role in supporting governance and addressing social challenges. According to him, youth equipped with moral strength, innovation, and cultural awareness can effectively counter social evils, including substance abuse and rising mental health concerns.
The proposed model seeks to rejuvenate the rural economy through sustainable organic practices, creating employment while promoting a balanced and value-based lifestyle rooted in indigenous traditions.
Concluding his address, Pt Jeevanand Sharma expressed sincere gratitude to the Founder Patron of RPP, Pt Sunil Bharala Ji, for entrusting him with this significant responsibility and reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the organisation’s mission across the nation.
