Jammu, Dec 20 (UNI)The Tourism Department of J&K on Friday announced a spectacular New Year celebration across the picturesque destinations of Patnitop, Bhaderwah and Sanasar.
The festival will showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and diverse adventure offerings, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors.
The festivities in Bhaderwah will be organised in collaboration with the District Administration Doda and Bhaderwah Development Authority from December 29 to 31 and will feature a vibrant lineup of activities, including the magnificent illumination of the historic Bhaderwah Fort, captivating cultural performances, and a delectable array of regional cuisine stalls.
Adventure enthusiasts will be thrilled by the exciting experiences at Guldanda, which include skiing, sledging, zorbing, snow cycling, zip-lining, and hot air ballooning.
The finale at the Bhaderwah Bus Stand will feature dazzling *celebrity performances*, local cultural showcasing.
In collaboration with the District Administrations of Udhampur and Ramban, along with the Patnitop Development Authority, Patnitop and Sanasar will also come alive on December 31 with festive charm. Sanasar will host a Winter Bonanza, featuring DJ music, bonfires, horse race competitions, and scenic selfie stations, immersing visitors in the tranquil beauty of the area.
At Patnitop, the celebrations will include celebrity singer performances, folk dances, live musical bands, an ethnic food bazaar and exhilarating winter sports such as skiing and sledging. The snow-covered peaks and festive decorations will create an unparalleled atmosphere of joy and celebration.
