Jammu, March 24: In a startling revelation, a team from the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) uncovered a disturbing truth while attempting to thwart land encroachment activities in Paloura. Shockingly, one of their own employees, identified as Parvin Singh alias Pinna, not only was involved in the illegal land grab but also brazenly threatened his superiors to refrain from intervention.
The incident sheds light on the internal turmoil within the JDA, exposing a nexus between employees and land grabbers, where even colleagues are not spared from intimidation tactics.
Upon discovery of this egregious misconduct, the JDA authorities swiftly escalated the matter to higher authorities, awaiting decisive action.
Parvin Singh, despite holding a position as a mere ‘Gang Man’ within the JDA, shamelessly flouted the rule of law by verbally assaulting Officer Farid Kohli and issuing menacing threats of dire consequences if any attempt was made to halt the ongoing encroachment on the said land. This encroachment during the nighttime incident was first reported by Jammu Jottings under the headline, “Can JDA Stop Landgrabbers or Will They Reign Supreme?”
Farid Kohli, a dedicated JDA officer leading the team, detailed the shocking encounter in a written report to senior officials. He recommended the immediate dismissal of Parvin Singh, highlighting his blatant involvement in the illegal activities alongside land grabbers.
