Jammu/Gujarat, Jun 28: Mentioning about the significance and imperative role of the Gaushalas across the country, the MLA 66-Tankara-Padadhari, Gujarat Mr Durlabhjibhai Dethariya said that society must come forward to establish the Gaushalas not only the sake of cows but to explore job opportunities and financial empowerment.
While speaking to the people during his visit to Gau-Tech 2023 at Rajkot Gujarat, he said that Indian history has clearly stated that in past the people were having the business of cow-rearing and with this business they were running the affairs of their families. He further said that cow has occupied the specific space in ancient society and people were opted that for their well beings. The cow is best for the health and wealth of the society. He said that cow has the capacity to renew the natural resources and thus the cows must be protected and taken proper care.
Highlighting the other benefits of the cow-rearing to the society, he said that today Gaushalas across the country are making everything from medicines to household items like incense sticks. We consider cow’s dung-cow urine to be holy and use it in worship, which is living up to the test of science at present. He said that many types of goods are being made from cow dung in cowsheds across the country.
Lauding the efforts of Dr Vallabhbhai Kathria, he said, “It is the endeavour of GCCI to provide a global platform to various types of goods made in Gaushala.”
Describing the event as historical, Mr Durlabhjibhai Dethariya said that organising of such event is not a child play but the hard work, sagacity and forward-looking of Dr Vallabhbhai Katharia is the main instrument, whereas it will be mentioned in the history with golden words.
