Jammu/Gujrat, Jun 19: In the history of India after independence it is the first kind of event which has meant for the promotion of the Cow-based industry not only in the India but throughout the world and this idea was conceived by the Dr Vallabhai Katharia ex-union minister of the government of India and staunch devotee of the Cow and he was supported by Mr Purish Kumar who extended the logical support. The peaceful city of Gujrat known as Rajkot has hosted a five-day global summit and expo promoting investment in cow-based industries.
The event was organised by the Global Confederation of Cow-Based Industries, the event, Gap Tech 2023, was targeted at startups, innovators, entrepreneurs and industries with the aim of attracting new entrepreneurs and investors in cow-based industries, said Dr Vallabh Kathiria, chairman of the Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog and founder of the GCCI.
The other programmes were included seminars, special cow-related cultural programmes carried on during the event under the wise and able guidance of Dr Vallabh Kathiria.
More than 200 stalls were booked in different field but most of them were related with the Cow industry and Gaushalas. The new techniques were displaced in the event and the experts from the various parts of the country participated in it.
In the event it has been demonstrated that with cow dung the several environmental friendly items can be made which can be used in daily needs and that would encourage the cow based industry in the country so that people may get financial empowered.
Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, former Union Minister, Ex-chairman of rashtriy Kamdhenu Aayog and patron of GCCI has opined that lot of work is being done in Gaushalas. It is very important for them to be self-reliant for cow protection. Cows are our real asset to fulfill all the dreams of the life by providing the livelihood and revenues. Today, many Gaushala institutions are working as a model to make the institution self reliance by providing making avenues. But they do not have any platform to sell and earn the money. GCCI is committed for this purpose. Referring to the use of fertilizers in the past, he was told that a subsidy of about 144 crores has been saved in the country by the use of organic manure made from cow dung and urine. Today, the use of cow dung and urine has also given birth to a new technology which has made this work easier. To promote this, there are many schemes in all the Ministries under the Central Government, which people do not know and therefore, GCCI has also taken the responsibility to create Marketplace.
