Streaming live on Facebook, man murders uncle in Doda

Jammu, June 16: In a shocking incident, a man, streaming live on Faceook, murdered his uncle in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Police said the accused Bhairon Singh of Bhales in Gandoh tehsil of Doda attacked the deceased with an axe after they exchanged heated words over some alleged land dispute.
“The accused attacked Ram Singh and his aunt, who was trying to pacify the two, with an axe,” said the police.
The accused was live on Facebook at the time of commiting the gruesome murder, police added.
They said that he fled from the spot following which special teams were constituted and he was apprehended.
“The accused had also attacked himself and suffered injuries,” said police.
The injured woman has also been hospitalised.
Police have registered a case and started the investigation. UNI
