Rajouri, June 11: During surprise inspections of Health Institutions in Nowshera Health Block in Rajouri district, Block Medical Officer (BMO), Dr. Iqbal Malik found three institutions locked on Sunday.
Taking serious note of the unauthorised absence of the concerned staff from their legitimate duties, BMO has warned strict action under the rules against the erring staff (as per roaster) after going through duty charts (as per roaster).
“Anyone who will be found involved in dereliction of his/her legitimate duty shall not be spared and strong action under the rules shall be initiated,” said BMO.
He further said that it has been noticed that many Health Institutions in this health block remain closed on Sundays and Gazetted holidays.
He directed all the in-charges of the health institution, whether she or he is from the regular or from NHM side, to keep the health centers open on Sundays/Gazetted holidays.
“If any health center is found close during a surprise inspection, 2 and half day salary shall be deducted of the staff on duties besides strong action under Rules shall be initiated and same shall be reflected in their service records,” said BMO, Dr. Iqbal Malik.
