Unseasonal rain creat havoc in Budhal, two house damaged 2 siblings injured

Rajouri, June 2: Unseasonal torrential rain played havoc in Budhal and adjoining areas of Kotranka sub-division in Rajouri district on Friday.
According to reports, two houses were partially damaged in the land sliding in ward No.3 of Budhal town while 3-4 others were vacated due to expected more land sliding.
One house belongs to a poor man, namely Krishan Lal @ Pappu Pandit and his two siblings were also injured. Another person was also injured in the second house that collapsed due to land sliding at about 9 pm.
Krishan’s wife is also suffering from kidney problems and under treatment in a hospital at Jammu.
On getting information about the land sliding and house damaged, a police team from Budhal police team also rushed to the spot and helped the locals in rescuing the injured and vacating 3-4 houses expected to come under more land sliding.
All the injured were taken to Primary Health Center (PHC) at Budhal & could be provided only pain killer shots as the doctor was unable to provide further treatment to the injured due to non-availability of power & X-Ray facility.
Social activists at Budhal with the help of Health authorities managed to refer the injured to GMC hospital at Rajouri for specialised treatment.
