Illegal Mining: Gharota Police seizes One Poclain, 5 Dumpers

Jammu, May 12: In a crackdown against illegal mining police party of Gharota Police Station headed by SHO PS Gharota Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma has seized 5 dumpers and one poclain machine from a site near ring road.
According to the reports Gharota Police acting on tip-off swung into action and raided a site near ring road where the illegal mining transportation was ongoing. The police party seized 5 Dumpers bearing registration numbers 1. JK02CR6661, 2. JK02DC5811, 3. JK02CC9976, 4. JK02CU5811, 5. JK02CW5811 and one Poclain machine for transporting mining minerals without required documents including Form A.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of SSP Jammu, Chandan Kolhi.
