Open protest in LG’s camp for POJK DPs!

Jammu, Mar 20: The honest efforts of Lt Governor Mr Manoj Sinha by organising LG’s Special Governance Camps for Displaced Persons of POJK to extend help to the persecuted fraternity POJK Displaced Persons of 1947 have completely turned into a futile exercise on the ground only due to the insensitive approach of the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu towards the sensitive issue and the same has been substantiated by the angered people in Kathua camp, who felt that administration not serious to the most delicate issue.
The actual working representatives of DPs of POJK in Kathua district were sidelined by political activists of a particularly political party as they have captured the stage, whereas no from the administration was allowed to sit on the stage but as soon the hue and cry started the officers were allowed to sit in the stage as per the reports. It is pertinent to mention that some of the persons are so opportunist that they are looking for opportunity to capture the stage let it be political, religious, social or even other than this.
The people openly spoke against the administration for not properly organising the Camps as these camps were ultimate hope of the POJK DPs but the office of Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir ditched their last hope. These said camps were not ordinary camps as the hopes of the 13.5 lac of souls were linked but very unfortunate part of the story is that these camps were not properly organized by the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir resulting in brewing of anger, unrest and ruction among the POJK Displaced Persons.
It is beyond understanding that why has the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir taken such grave issue in an irresponsible way and left the people in morass. Who misguided the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir? What was the intention of Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir in concern of issues of POJK DPs? Who ill advised the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir over such sensitive issue?
The president JK Sharnarthi Action Committee Gurdev Singh said that the way being adopted to organise the camps were totally unproductive and worthless. He further said Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir remained utterly unsuccessful to organise these camps, which is not simply failure of camps but has taken away hopes of the POJK DPs. He suggested the administration that practical work must be done, whereas only show off would not work. He asked the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Jammu & Kashmir to call an emergency meeting of representatives of POJK DPs to review the failure & lapses in our nine camps so that in future the same might not be repeated.
The general secretary JK Youth Sharnarthi Action Committee Iqbal Singh Iqbal has censured the government for organizing such worthless camps which have not yielded any fruits. He said that two or three efficient officers be appointed to organizing such camps in future so that purpose may be achieved instead of defeating.
The president of Kathua district JKSAC Bhushan Kumar said that the stage was captured by the activists of a particularly party which was an attempt to hamper the cause. He said that such type of system would not achieve the purpose so we have to change such system in the interest of the POJK DPs.
