Rajouri, Oct 3: To implement Covid protocol across the district, the Enforcement teams today fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance and have recovered fines worth Rs 21470/- taking the total amount fined to Rs.52,90,587 (since April 1, 2021).
According to the Covid-19 Media Bulletin, thirty patients have recovered on Sunday and at present there are still 30 active cases in the district, while out of 925 reports received today one person was detected positive.
Out of 30 active cases, 20 are in home isolation and 10 patients were admitted in the various hospitals/CCCs including 2 in GMC Rajouri, 6 in Army/BSF and one in a hospital outside the district.
As per media reports 77% percent of 18-44 years age group in Rajouri district have been vaccinated so far and the authorities concerned have urged the remaining population to get vaccinated at the earliest.
As many as 10086 persons of 18-44 years age group were administered first (7685) and second (2401) doses across Rajouri district on Sunday.
The Vaccination campaign is going on smoothly across the district wherein the teams are visiting every doorstep to ensure every eligible person is vaccinated.
The Administration has appealed to the people of the district to maintain Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) strictly to fight effectively against the third wave.
During the first and the second wave, 5,59,671 tests have been conducted in the district till Sunday,including RT-PCR (1,40,463) and RAT (4,19,208) of which 11237 cases were found positive including 7364 during the second wave.
Of the 11237 positive cases, 10970 have recovered, 30 are still active and 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
