Rajouri, May 24: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Dr. M.L. Rana, chaired a district-level meeting on Friday to review preparedness for the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) assessment.
The meeting focused on healthcare facilities recommended or under consideration for state-level assessment. Key points discussed included assessment readiness, gap identification, required interventions, and finalization of roles and responsibilities.
The meeting was attended by all six Block Medical Officers (BMOs), Internal Assessors, and in-charges of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) and Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across the district.
CMO Rajouri emphasized the need for focused efforts to meet NQAS benchmarks and directed all participants to submit updated checklists and reports. BMOs were also instructed to prepare five additional health institutions from their respective blocks for NQAS national certification by June 2025.
