Stolen bike recovered, 2 accused arrested

KATHUA; 19 MAY:- In continuation to a drive launched by J&K Police Kathua against the thieves/vehicle lifters operating in this district Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS has solved a theft case by recovering 01 motorcycle & 02 thieves arrested who were involved in the offence in limits of PS Lakhanpur.
On the written complaint of complainant namely Balbir Singh S/o Chain Singh R/o Karroh Tehsil & District Kathua regarding to Theft of his Motorcycle from Basohli Morh Lakhanpur for which a case was registered at PS Lakhanpur vide FIR No. 64/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS. Following a thorough investigation, the police team of PS Lakhanpur led by SHO PS Lakhanpur Insp Tribhuwan Khajuria under the close supervision of Addl SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS and DySP DAR Kathua Sh. Ritesh Samyal successfully arrested two suspects namely 1. Bagh Hussain S/o Zahoor Ahmed R/o Chak Bagha Near Govt School Tehsil Nagri Kathua A/P Kalyanpur 2. Sharief S/o Liaq uat Ali R/o Khar khara Near Narot Jaimal Singh Tehsil Pathankot A/P Malpur Tehsil and District Pathankot.
Upon interrogation, both the accused confessed their involvement in the said theft case and disclosed the location of the stolen motorbike. Thereafter the recovered vehicle was seized and two accused persons were arrested on the spot.
