Jammu, May 23: It is astounding but it is true that a person or a group of persons are allegedly involved in preparing and then circulating the fake orders on social media in past too of different nature but at present a fake order of summer vacations pertaining to summer zone of Jammu division is being circulated in social media which has created confusion among the people. Whereas, the School Education department has lodged FIR with concerned police station under relevant sections to nab the fraudster.
The fake order for summer vacation is resembling like a real order in every aspects like shape and wordings. The faker has written the said order in a precise manner and it appears like an original order and even order No 176 – DSEJ of 2024 dated 22-05-2024 has been mentioned. Moreover the dispatch number DSEJ/Gen/2023/17983-18011 dated 22-05-2024 also being mentioned in the fake order so that people may take this order as original. As per the fake order, the summer vacation to be observed from 27-05-2024 to 22-07-2024.
The subject of the fake is as ‘Summer Vacations in Summer Zone of Jammu Division.’ The order read as ‘It is hereby ordered that all the Govt/recognized Private Schools falling in summer zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacations w.e.f. 27-05-2024 to 22-07-2024. It is further ordered:- a) All teachers shall remain available for any on-line guidance of students during vacation period. b) Any default on part of the head of the schools/teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract action under rules.’ In the said fake order the signature of Director School Education is being forged.
The Director School Education, Jammu Ashok Sharma KAS has told that FIR has been lodged against the fraudster/fraudsters and the department will pursue the case to know the intention behind preparing and circulating the fake order.
