Fraudulent withdrawal of payments: BDO Rajouri attached, inquiry initiated

Rajouri, January 11: Look after Block Development Officer (BDO) Rajouri, Pardeep Kumar has been attached in the office of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri allegedly for fraudulent withdrawal of payments against non-existing works.
In this case an inquiry has also been initiated by Commissioner Secretary RDD, Dr Shahid Choudhary, which will be conducted by ADDC Rajouri and was asked to furnish report/findings along with specific recommendations within a period of 21 days positively.
Government order (No.27-JK(RD&PR) of 2024 dt 10/1/2024) reads; “Pending enquiry into his conduct viz-a-viz release of payments, Pardeep Kumar, look after BDO, Block Rajouri is hereby attached in the office of ADDC Rajouri with immediate effect .
BDO Manjakot Javed Ahmed has been asked to hold the additional charge of the post of Block Rajouri till further orders.
