Rajouri, August 20: In a shocking development, District Development Council (DDC) Rajouri member of the Dhangri DDC Constituency leveled serious allegations of multi-crore scam committed by a few officials/officers of PWD (R&B) Rajouri.
A senior National Conference (NC) leader from Kalakot Assembly Constituency in a Tweet also alleged that corruption is at its peak at the PWD department at Rajouri

“PWD RAJOURI IS UP FOR SALE PAAPRENTL! Honourable L.G.@manojsinha_we request you to intervene and STOP this corruption that is being witnessed in PWD Rajouri. A multi-crore scam is unfolding in District Rajouri from where I have been elected as a DDC member” read DDC member Dhangri Assembly Constituency, Rameshwar Singh.
He also wrote on a WhatsApp group which read: “DDC Dhangri demand for inquiry against PWD Rajouri which is up for sale apparently, witnessing illicit corruption. A significant multi-crore rupees scam is unfolding in my area from where I have been elected as DDC member. Honourable L.G. Manjoj Sinha sir, please intervene and halt this wrong doings.
The proof lies within the documents related to the e-paper tender released by the superintending Engineer circle office Rajouri and their Technical team members starting from ENIT 13; ENIT 16; & ENT 17 onwards.
It is important to emphasize that I am willing to step away from politics, provided that extensive mismanagement & robbing public treasury are unveiled, even in light of the Technical Evaluation of the bids.
