Jammu, Aug 17: The DSP posted in the DKR range is taking full advantage of his posting. He is taking all types of building materials from construction companies operating in his area to construct a lavish house for himself. The house is so splendid that a swimming pool has been constructed on the roof of the house to enjoy his life to the fullest. He is providing all the state-of-the-art gadgets to make his house a dream house.
When the SDPO was transferred in this range he simultaneously, he started the construction/renovation of his house. On the pretext of renovating his house, he is providing all the latest facilities in the house to make it a marvellous abode. All the building materials ranging from steel and cement to all types of fittings are being supplied by the private companies in his area. The companies are least bothered about the materials being provided by them to the DSP because, in lieu of this, they get a number of favours from the DSP which boost their income ten times they spent on their construction activities.
As per reports this DSP has been posted as SDPO for the second time in Jammu Division, he was posted at an important post previously also. From there he was transferred to the DKR range. In his area private Companies are executing some big projects, The DSP has made very good relations with the officers of the companies. As large construction projects are being carried on in his area and he is getting full advantage of these companies. In addition to the monthly monetary payoffs by these companies, the DSP is taking all types of construction materials from these companies. The DSP has ordered to all his SHOs and PP in charge not to put any obstacle in the working of these companies. He has told the Company personnel that as long as he is the SDPO they need not talk to any other officer as he will facilitate all types of benefits to them, which he does without fail.
If any case or complaint is registered against these companies he settles all these issues without registering any FIR. In lieu of these acts, he is getting huge benefits from the companies. A few days back a PP in charge acted strictly against the Companies and advised them to follow rules and regulations in letter and spirit. The DSP in connivance with the Company officers got him transferred from his post. After his transfer, all other officers are afraid of coercive action and are not taking any action against the companies where they are flouting rules with impunity. But the SDPO is taking full advantage of this scenario and making a fast buck along with a palatial mansion.
