Jammu, Aug 08: The police party of PP Roundomail while performing routine naka checking at Roundomail led by Inspector Raghubir Singh SHO Police Station Udhampur and assisted by PSI Rahul Jamwal IC Police Post Roundomail under the supervision of Anwaar Ul Haq Additional Superintendent of Police Udhampur and Gurmeet Singh Dy SP Hqrs Udhampur, whereas under the overall supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar- IPS signalled to stop one truck bearing registration number JK03E 3951 for checking.
The police of Udhampur district under the wise guidance of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar has taken the challenge to wipe out the overall crime from the district and in this connection entire police have rolled up its sleeves. The police have made up its mind that in any condition the crime will be minimized and criminals to be taught a lesson. Dr Vinod Kumar is taking every step to eradicate the crime. His team including Additional SP Anwar Ul Haq, DySP Gurmeet Singh and SHO Raghubir Singh are the officers working for the society round the clock.
During search, 17 numbers of bovine animals were found loaded in the above said vehicle without any valid permission.
All the 17 bovine animals in total were rescued and bovine smuggler namely Nisar Ahmed son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Rakh Bra, Anantnag was arrested on spot.
In this connection a case under relevant section of law stands registered in PS Udhampur and further investigation is underway.
