Jammu, Aug 02: The Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa IAS has once again has made huge surgical strike on the land-robbers and cancelled the mutation of 467 kanal and 15 marlas in one stroke of pen of those who robbed the land illegally by opting unethical and illegal process with the help of corrupt revenue officials especially in Bhalwal tehsil, where the goons are much active.
The officer has proved that no one is bigger than law and any honest officer can take on the wrong and corrupt people whatsoever they are occupying the possession in society or in administration.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu in her order No DCJ/Rds/2023-24/181-185 dated 31-07-2023 has clearly stated that she has received a complaint on 18-05-2023 to restrain the culprits who are encroaching th land by excavating the soil using JCB Machines during the night to change the topography of the land with the help of local goons till the completion of the demarcation process to establish the boundaries of land bearing Khasra No 5552 & 5561, Khewat 8, Khata No 707, situated in village Kangar Tehsil Bhalwal, district Jammu.
The order further mentioned that there was another complaint forwarded by Financial Commissioner Revenue vide e-office filr number E-7206349, in the similar matter in which enquiry was entrusted to Assistant Commissioner Nazool Jammu. On the perusal of complaints, is has been found that both complaints pertain to the same area having common Khasra Nos, therefore they have clubbed both the enquiries.
The record was called from Tehsildar and the perusal of record revealed that soil type was changed illegally by the field staff for Khasra Nos 5197, 5329, 5341, 5193, 5258, 5279, 5229, 5329, 5245, 5561, 5564, 5552 of the village Kangar.
