Jammu, Gujrat, Jun 21: The purpose to organize such a huge event of Gau-Tech-2023 at Rajkot, Gujarat for five-days was aimed to spread the latest techniques among the people who are linked with cow/cows related business, bow to invest in the cow based industry and as its part the Dr Vallabhbhai Katharia has invited maximum prominent personalities including VIPs so the Governor of Kerala Arif Mohammed Khan was invited to attend the event and he attended with keen interest.
With the visit of Arif Mohammed Khan as Governor of Kerala has been proved to be a booster to the said event and it has enhanced the credibility of the event besides participants got encouraged.
While speaking during his visit, Arif Mohammad Khan alleged that many attempts have been made to “harm Kerala’s communal harmony in the last two decades but he added that people have foiled the nefarious design.
Khan, who was at the Gau Tech fair in Rajkot, supported the organising of such events, which would be instrumental in strengthening the communal harmony among the different communities and India oldest tradition of service and love.
Reacting over the film ‘The Kerala Story’, he said that there is no need to criticize of support the film but it is the best instrument to understand the Kerala culture and living style, whereas the food and clothes did not have any religion stigma but have only their importance. One can only hear ‘this food is from south Kerala or north Kerala’ but you will never hear anything linking a community or religion to it.”
Underlining the importance to encourage the Cow service and cow based business, he said that the time has come to strategically expand the cow based industry in the world which would have multiple and long term benefits for the society, which include a good health and reduction of diseases from the society. He said the Cows are itself a moving health-care clinic and we should understand its importance.
Signifying a different thing, he added, “When there is such a society, and I was astonished, for example, there is a prayer meeting (where) our Christians pray in Sanskrit. They told me ‘it was because of you it is in Sanskrit, else we recite it in Malayalam’.”
Mentioning about the composite culture of the Kerala he further said, “On special occasions like Eid you will be surprised, the atmosphere there is very good. But when there is something good there is an attempt to spoil it. In the last 15-20 years, attempts have been made to harm the communal harmony in Kerala in a very well planned manner. I am not commenting on the film but nobody can deny that such attempts have been made in Kerala and today’s government of India has banned a party based out of that state. So, there must be some reason why it was banned.”
