Samoon delivered justice!
- The constant efforts of Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon IAS and Director Sudershan Kumar JKAS provided justice to the 77 officers.

Jammu, Jun 12: The Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon IAS and Director Sudershan Kumar JKAS remained committed to the employees of its department as after a long lull the said department has conducted DPC and got sanction from the J&K Public Service for the promotion and regularization of 77 officers to the next higher grade.
In the three different orders the Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon IAS has given gift to the its 77 employees who were running from pillar to post to get their legitimate right. Out of 77 officers including Superintendents, principals, HODs, Assistant Directors and Assistant Apprenticeship Advisors, eight officers after the retirement have died and 40 retired officers have been benefitted as per the law of the land. The family members of the deceased officials benefitted.
In first order vide Government order No 64-JK(DSD) of 2023 dated 03-06-2023 only nine officers were regularized and promoted. They have been regularized and promoted with the sanction accorded by the JK Public Service Commission vide its letter No JKPSC/DPC/30/2023-05 (7135306) dated 30-05-2023.
Whereas, n second order vide Government order No 66-JK(DSD) of 2023 dated 05-06-2023 only nineteen (19) officers were regularized and promoted. Out of 19 officers, four officers have been died and ten officers are retired. They have been regularized and promoted with the sanction accorded by the JK Public Service Commission vide its letter No J&K PSC/DPC/46/2023-05 (7166982) dated 30-05-2023. Meanwhile, in third order vide Government order No 69-JK(DSD) of 2023 dated 08-06-2023 only forty-nine (49) officers were regularized and promoted. Out of 49, four officers have died and 30 have attained retirement. They have been regularized and promoted with the sanction accorded by the JK Public Service Commission vide its letter No JKPSC-DPS/46/2023-05 (7166982) dated 07-06-2023.
The Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon IAS who is going to retire but he remained committed to the employees and have done DPC, besides promotions and regularization as the officials were demanding for so many years and they deserved for it. It is the personal efforts of Mr Samon otherwise they were remained deprived off from their legitimate right. Many employees have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Mr Samoon who at the time of retirement did a big job otherwise it was very difficult.
