Who will stop this?
- The CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) is the mandatory department of any health institute but who tell GMC Rajouri.
- The Secretary Health & Medical Education Bhopinder Kumar must take cognizance of this issue so that people may get little solace about this burning issue.

Jammu, Jun 06: The CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) is very mandatory department of every hospital and its work is to maintain proper sterilization of equipment that are used for patient care but in GMC Rajouri no one care for it and they are supposed to spread some kind of infection among the patients who are visiting there.
Sterilization of all equipments, which are used for patient care are very important because there is always a risk of cross infection from one patient to another if proper sterilization is not done after every use. Some serious diseases may spread from one patient to another like HIV, AIDS, HEPATITIS, blood borne diseases etc.
Moreover, there is proper availability of staff which is specifically recruited by the concerned recruitment agency JKSSB in which 19 technical assistant & 3 staff Nurses recruited so far. But till date CSSD department in GMC Rajouri is non-functional and the staff members are doing their duties in other sections for their personal gains. Some of them made their special orders/VIP orders in administration blocks, drug stores etc and the whole administration of GMC Rajouri is favouring all such VIP orders/special orders.
If this CSSD unit is non functional in GMC Rajouri till date and the question arises that how the instrument are sterilized in hospital? Is the administration of GMC Rajouri is playing with the precious life of Patients and public?
It is pertinent to mention that hospital administration is totally ignoring this major concern and administration is not taking serious note or any initiative on this non functional unit. The question goes to Administrative Secretary of Health and Medical Education department that who is responsible for such lapses on their part? If a common man get infected with some serious disease or losses his life due to this lack of Sterilization services who will be responsible?
