Panic gripped Dhangri/Sarannoo area after two unidentified men in black dresses spotted

Rajouri, May 3: Panic once again gripped the Saranoo & the Dhangri village of Rajouri district when a woman, a resident of Bihar, claimed that two unidentified persons in black clothes entered their rented at about 9 pm and requested to keep their bags for some time.
It is pertinent to mention here that on the evening of January 1, two terrorists entered the village and opened indiscriminate fire on the villagers.
Seven persons, including two minor children, were killed in this terror attack and the perpetrators are still at large.
A member of a labourer family (name withheld) from Bihar said; “When I was preparing food at about 9 pm, two persons wearing black clothes entered our rented room and requested to keep their two big bags for some time. They were well built and long in height”.
Noticing the presence of two unidentified persons and keeping in mind the January 1 terror attack, Jayanti left the room and rushed to inform the house owner about the persons.
But before the people could reach the room, both the unidentified persons disappeared either towards the riverside or disappeared in the adjoining forest.
It is said that both the unidentified persons came from the LoC side after crossing the river & might have infiltrated from Keri or Lam sectors.
“On getting information from Jayanti, CRPF personnel deployed in the village cordoned the entire area. Assistant Commandant CRPF, Suman Sourabh, SHO Rajouri, Shoukat Ahmed along with additional personnel of CRPF and SOG Rajouri reached the village within 10 minutes,” said Dheeraj Sharma, Sarpanch Dhangri Upper.
The forces have launched a search operation to locate the unidentified persons.
Meanwhile, Sarpanch Dheeraj Sharma said that one company of CRPF deployed in the village is not sufficient to provide security for the entire population.
“People are still under the trauma of the January terror attack and panic has once again gripped Dhangri and adjoining areas after the presence of unidentified persons,” said Sarpanch.
Meanwhile, on 4th day of the search operation, launched to trace and eliminate the terrorists involved in the Kandi attack, no contact was established with the perpetrators of the attack in which 5 Para Commandos attained martyrdom.
