It is only possible in School education!

Jammu, Apr 11: How is it possible that a person passing his/her 11th class in Arts stream and 12th class in Science stream (Non Medical) but School Education Department is unmoved over it? Why is the School Education Department becoming worthless each passing day that it cannot detect the wrong, fudged, fake and invalid certificates or degrees of their employees particularly of teachers of RET? Why are not the senior officers paying heed to such a hidden scam running under the nose of Director School Education Department? Is it failure of School Education Department that Crime Branch detected the fraud in the appointment? Why has not the School Education Department acted on the news published in ‘Jammu Jottings’ newspaper regarding fake, fudged, invalid and wrong certificates and degree have been used to get the job under RET scheme? These are very sharp questions irritating in the mind of people but the department is in deep slumber.
The Crime Branch Jammu has registered case at Police Station Economic Offences Wing Crime Branch Jammu under FIR No 35 dated 27-03-23 against one Tilak Raj son of Govind Ram R/o Gonda tehsil Bhalwal district Jammu who was working as teacher in Government Middle School Prade Gorda Zone Bhalwal for wreaking frauds and deceits to obtain job. The report has clearly mentioned that the person in question has been booked under section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471m 120-B RPC accordingly.
One complainant namely Rattan Lal S/o Gian Chand resident of Gorda tehsil Bhalwal district Jammu has lodged a complaint with CBI Jammu against the said teacher that the accused has qualified his 11th (PUC) class in the 2007-08 from J&K Board of School Education Jammu in Arts stream and further he obtained 12th (TDC) Marks sheet for the year April 2009 from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) in Non Medial Stream in order to seek employment in Education Department, is it feasible to pass out 11th class in arts and thereafter pursue further studies in 12th class in Non Medical stream and obtain mark sheet.
The accused has deliberately, knowingly, intentionally and fraudulently obtained the fake/fudged/forged mark sheet of 12th class may be misleading or concealing the facts from the NIOS. The accused has obtained the said mark sheet in order to obtain employment in education department, hereby causing wrongful gains to himself and corresponding wrongful loss to government exchequer.
Most intriguing part of the story that on March 27 an FIR has been lodged against the teacher but since the lapse of 16 days the department has not suspended but he is still discharging his duties as usual.
The Jammu Jottings has several times raked the issue of fake/fraudulent/wrong/invalid documents being used by the teachers who were appointed under RET scheme. The department remained silent over such issue, which remained instrumental in draining the state exchequer. The office of Director School Education Department Jammu must pull their socks and immediately swing in action to re-verify the documents of RET teachers of three zones, RS Pura, Satwari and Akhnoor.
These three RS Pura, Satwari and Akhnoor zones are having much numbers of RET teachers but many of them had submitted wrong/forged/fudged/faked/invalid certificates and degrees and the documents of RET teachers of these three blocks must be minutely be inquired to dig the truth.
