Rajouri, April 5: Amid a fresh spike in Covid-19 cases in Jammu division, Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr. Rajinder Singh has convened a meeting of all Block Medical officers (BMOs) and Zonal Medical Officers (ZMOs) on Thursday to discuss the measures for the preparedness of Covid pandemic.
All the officers have been asked to attend the meeting on top priority.
The main points to be discussed in the meeting include RT-PCR tests for all symptomatic cases, setting up of Flu OPDs at all the sub-district hospitals, community health centers and primary health centers, minimum 20-RT-PCR tests per day at each health block.
Other measures to be discussed include the availability of RAT/VTM and Covid management kits, the vaccination status of the 2nd dose & precautionary dose, the status of oxygen cylinders, conducting of mock drills on 10th & 11th April in all the blocks, sensitisation of the general public for Covid Appropriate Behaviour with the help of PRIs members, religious preachers and to make wearing of masks mandatory at all the health institutions.
