Rajouri police again seek people’s help for specific inputs about Dhangri killers

Day 38, no contact yet with Dhangri perpetrators

Rajouri, Feb 7: Jammu & Kashmir Police once again have appealed to the people of border districts of Rajouri & Poonch for sharing specific information regarding the terrorists involved in the Dhangri twin terror attacks.
The police have also announced other rewards besides the already announced reward of Rs 10 lakh for authentic information about the movement/ presence of terrorists involved in Dhangri massacre.
The police assured that the informer’s details shall be kept secret and also share the phone numbers, including 7006699696; 9596520120; & 01962-262515, for sharing the information.
The Rajouri police are of the view that the perpetrators of Dhangri terror attack are still hiding in the higher reaches in the district and may again execute Dhangri-like terror incidents.
The police also warned about strict action against those who have been providing moral support, food, shelter, and information about the movement of security forces to these terrorists.
“All such elements (OGWs) are under police surveillance and soon they will face action,” the police said.
The police have also sought the cooperation of the people to get rid of the terrorism from both the districts for peace and development of the area.
Even 38 days after Dhangri attack, in which 7 people, including two children, were killed and 15 others were injured on January 1 & 2, two terrorists involved in the gruesome terror attack are still at large.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation of this gruesome terrorist attack.
