Anti encroachment drive!

Samba, Dec 27: The entire UT administration under the wise guidance and skilled administrator Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has made up it’s to retrieve the entire encroached land from the land grabbers irrespective their social, financial or political status and no one will be allowed in future to encroach the land on one or other pretext. It is not new that administration has retrieved the encroached land from the land grabbers irrespective their access and approach.
The district administration, Samba taking cognizance of encroachment on state land near Gurha Salathia of Vijaypur town, today, carried out a massive anti encroachment drive wherein 296 kanals 12 marlas of state land was retrieved.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Samba Anuradha Gupta, the anti encroachment team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Dubey KAS reached on the spot early morning and pressed multiple JCBs machines to remove large number of temporary and permanent structures including pavements, wall boundary, Concrete RCC, sheds, barbed wires, poles, houses and others structures.
ADC informed that the State land under Khasra no 860 of village Gurha Salathia, measuring 296 kanals 12 Marla of State land (Gair Mumkin) was retrieved from illegal occupants with help of JK Police.
During the anti-encroachment drive SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari, Naib Tehsildar Sandeep Thappa besides other field police and revenue officials were also present. SHO Tribhuvan Khajuria also played big role in this anti-encroachment drive.
The Deputy Commissioner Samba said that the entire land which has been illegally encroached by the land grabbers would be vacated and there is no other option. She said that the vacated land would be given to those institutes which are actual need of the land. She said that encroachers would not be spared at any cost and a case be registered against the encroachers.
