Assembly secretariat is a disgruntled institute!
- It is very shocking for everyone that after signing the letter it needs only 5 minutes to dispatch but the PIO or other assembly officer took 43200 minutes to dispatch.
- Lt Governor Manoj Sinha is silently watching everything in J&K and will surely act over such huge delay, which was meant to degrade the RTI Act of India and PIO Farooq Ahmed Khan knows better about such huge delay.

Jammu, Dec 27: What is the intention of the officers of assembly secretariat behind violating the RTI act openly? Why is the FAA not replying to RTI filed by a responsible citizen of J&K to expose the wrong/backdoor/malpractices in the assembly secretariat? Why are the PIO and FAA scaring from an employee and not revealing the fact? Why they are concealing the fact in this regard? Is she so powerful that PIO and FAA are ignoring RTI Act of India government? If her appointment is genuine then why to hide fact, it is very simple. Is she dictating terms to PIO and FAA not to reply the RTI activist? Why are they openly flouting the RTI Act of India that too under the honest administration of Lt Governor in J&K and whereas the India is governed by honest and dedicated Prime Minister Narender Modi? These are some typical questions irritating in the mind of people and they need a specific reply for the delay and they must provide complete reply to RTI activists who want to maintain transparency in the assembly secretariat.
One Social and RTI Activist Iqbal Singh Iqbal has filed an RTI to verify the genuineness of appointment of one employee so that doubts must be cleared, besides the people must know the promptness of the assembly secretariat. As there are wrong or right rumours about her appointment but the assembly secretariat has mocked on the RTI Act of great India that too when our Prime Minister is loudly advocating for good governance and time frame disposal of the files and applications.
The Jammu Jottings is having the copy of a letter signed by the Public Information Officer, Farooq Ahmad Khan, which itself speaks in volume about the performance of the assembly secretariat. In the letter the PIO has put his signature on 17-09-2022 and dispatched the letter on 17-10-2022 vide No LA: 4849/RTI/2022. It is very ridiculous and also sufficient to initiate astringent inquiry against the PIO or other responsible officials who took 30 days to dispatch the letter. In other words, one can say that to dispatch a letter it takes only 5 minutes but these doodle officer/officers have taken 30 days. Thirty days contain 720 hours, if you will go by minutes it contains 43200 minutes. The calculation clearly states that the work of 5 minutes have been deliberately delayed by 43195 minutes. This is the performance of assembly secretariat, which should know by one and all.
The team of Jammu Jottings is working over it and will spill the beans in this concern and will expose each and every action of the assembly secretariat, which is in deep slumber and need overhauling by throwing out some sluggish officials who are bring bad name to the entire institute.
