Jammu, Nov 30: These days a SHO posted in JKS range is getting mining done in the middle of the city in his area. As soon as the night falls, he allows illegal mining in his area and in this way he is earning huge money. Machines can be seen being operated fearlessly by their operators openly in his area at night. Not only this, this SHO is also allowing and encouraging gambling in his jurisdiction. He is making best use of a closed factory in his area. The gamblers are allowed by him to play gambling in the premises of closed factory as in his jurisdiction lot of factories are there. Gamblers from outside areas have ample opportunity to gamble under the protection of this skilled SHO. For him gambling is very important so he allows gambling day and night, whereas he makes money for his own development.
According to the information, it has been a long time since this the said SHO has been posted in the district, he is constantly changing stations and as per his own choice. He is being shifted from one police station to another but he stands firm for encouraging the gambling. Change of police station is different thing but his mission is one. The intriguing part of the story that presently in which police station he has been posted there are big drains and mining can be done. Here he has illegally allowed getting mining done as he is a powerful SHO. As soon as it gets dark at night, mining starts in that area. When he had joined, he had held a meeting with the owners of tractor trolleys in his area. After that the SHO selected one person from that group to meet him in routine. Then he was told that he can do mining in the big drain of his area. He has different modus operandi as only one person will meet him on the behalf of all the illegal miners. And after that the mining work has been started, moreover the mining work is being done every night in the drains falling under his jurisdiction. He is very calculated SHO and prefect in mathematics so he charges money for per vehicle. Machines are deployed at night for mining with the royal decree of the powerful SHO.
This SDHO is very popular among the gamblers and the gamblers trust him much, besides he has links with maximum gamblers. He is expert in encouraging gambling in his area as he was doing where he was previously posted. He used to felicitate the gamblers to openly gamble even there too. But when he has been transferred to another police station, he invited all those gamblers to gamble in his jurisdiction which were in his link, so that gambling can be done comfortably in his area. He has started the gambling by inviting the gamblers to shift the gambling post to new place, where he is working as SHO and in return for which he gets handsome money from the gamblers. The gamblers are very comfortable nad having very close relation with this SHO. In such a situation, no action will be taken by the police. Now the people of the locality are discussing at tea-stalls, barber shops and in social programmes about the gambling being patronized by the said skilled SHO.
