SSP intervention lodges FIR against 2 hardcore land grabbers

JDA to be tough against land grabbers!

• Jammu Development Authority lodges fresh FIR No 131/2022 u/s 447 IPC against the Anil Gupta son of Late Ram Lal resident of Paloura and Sham Singh son of Late Kamal Singh resident of Paloura as both are conspiring to grab the JDA land.
• The DC Jammu said that revenue officials involved in entering illegal mutation will be punished severely and it will be lesson for other revenue officials.

Jammu, Nov 27: With the intervention of Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Chandan Kohli IPS, the Station House Officer Police Station Janipur has registered FIR against Anil Gupta son of Late Ram Lal resident of Paloura and Sham Singh son of Late Kamal Singh resident of Paloura and booked them under section 447 IPC for committing criminal trespass.
The reports said that Jammu Development Authority has been pushing for fresh registration of FIR against the Anil Gupta son of Late Ram Lal resident of Paloura and Sham Singh son of Late Kamal Singh resident of Paloura as both are conspiring to grab the JDA land. In the fresh letter as a reminder to SHO Janipur and copies to other including Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu dated 25-11-2022 vide letter No JDA/Teh-A/1657-64, signed by Tehsildar Zone A/B, JDA, Jammu, it is being mentioned that both the persons are hardcore JDA land grabbers and prior to this FIRs are stand lodged in the same Police Station.
The said letter was copied to Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu and while taking the cognizance of the complaint lodged by JDA, he directed the SHO Janipur to immediate lodge and FIR against the hardcore land grabbers. Acting upon the directions of SSP Jammu, the SHO Janipur has registered the FIR 131/2022 U/S 447 IPC. The police will very soon arrest both the land grabbers immediately and will inquire the matter more.
It is pertinent to mention that the Tehsildar Zone A/B JDA Jammu has already registered a complaint for lodging the FIR vide its office letter No JDA/Teh-A/1291-98 dated 20-10-2022 against the both hard core land grabbers Anil Gupta son of Late Ram Lal resident of Paloura and Sham Singh son of Late Kamal Singh resident of Paloura but the FIR was not registered at that time.
The grabbing of JDA land was spotted by the vigilant Patwari of JDA Balvinder Singh who put his own life in risk and reported the matter to his officer. He submitted a report of grabbing of JDA land and following his report the concerned JDA Tehsildar lodged and FIR.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa IAS very categorically said that at first the mutation would be cancelled and then the department will identify those revenue officers who had deliberately entered wrong mutation and they will be booked under stringent law so that it will be an exemplary punishment, besides it would be lesson for others too. She said that no one will be spared in this case whosoever is involved in this illegal act.
