Jammu police seizes 6 vehicles involved in illegal mining

Jammu, Sep 21: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Arnia, PS Domana, PS Gharota and PP Panjtirthi acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 06 different vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No T052380728HE, by PS Arnia; Two Tractor Trolley without registration No by PS Domana; Two Tractor Trollies bearing Registration Nos JK02DA-6422 and JK02AX-0926 by PS Ghrota; and one Tipper bearing Registration No JK02CW-4533, by PP Panjtirthi
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Arnia Inspector Sumit Sharma, SHO PS Domana Inspector Tilak Raj, SHO PS Gharota Inspector Rajesh Khajuria, I/C PP Panjthirthi PSI Rahul Sharma in their respective jurisdictions.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
