CMO sought explanation from BMO for non-compliance of detachment order

Rajouri, August 4: Dr. Hamid Zargar, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri on Thursday sought an explanation from Block Medical Officer (BMO) Manjakot for non-compliance u his directions (issued on July 6) for the detachment of all the employees with immediate effect.
The CMO vide his office order No.CMO/R /2022-23/2699-2708 dt 6/7/2022 had directed all the Block Medical Officers (BMOs) to detach all the employees (including clerical staff) with immediate effect.
In the explanation call issued today (vide No.CMO/R/2022-23/3866-69 dt 4/8/2022) the CMO mentioned that ‘even after the lapse of more than one month, it has come to my notice that some of the employees are still not complied the orders. As such you (BMO, Manjakot) are directed to relieve all the attached employees and also explain your position with regard to the non-compliance of orders within two days’.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the month of July, the J&K government cancelled the attachments of the doctors and the paramedical staff.
“The step was aimed at ensuring better health care facilities to the general public and to restore the healthcare facilities in the rural areas.” read the order issued by the Principal Secretary J&K Health and Medical Education (HME) Department. “The concerned Head of the Departments are directed to submit compliance reports in this regard latest by August 1, 2022, without any fail. Besides, all the concerned DDOS are also directed not to draw the salary of any doctors, paramedics attached in their jurisdiction, henceforth,” the order further said.
