10-yr old brutally murdered in Kathua, 4 arrested

Jammu, July 7: Police on Thursday arrested four persons including three minors for brutally killing a ten-year-old boy in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the family of the deceased Pranay Gupta of village Saidpur lodged a missing persons report with the police after which the investigations were taken up.
“The boy was found murdered and his body was recovered from the fields in the village,” police said.
They said that during the course of investigation, involvement of a local resident from the same village surfaced.
“Four persons including three minors have been arrested in this case,” police said, adding that the reason behind the heinous crime is being ascertained. UNI
