Rajouri, Nov 28: It has been witnessed that across the Rajouri district the people have been found violating Covid Appropriate Behaviours (CABs) with impunity.
In an alarming trend seven positive cases, including two before 2 pm & 5 after 2 pm, have been detected in the district on Sunday.
As per official details out of 2481 reports received on Sunday, two positive cases were detected and the number of active cases in the district has risen to 17 while four patients have recovered today.
Sources said five more positive cases have been detected in the afternoon on Sunday thus taking the tally to 22 which is a matter of concern.
Out of seventeen active Covid cases, 4 patients are under treatment in the GMC&AH at Rajouri, three are under treatment in the Army /BSF hospital, twelve are in home isolation and one positive case has been detected outside the district.
As per the daily bulletin issued on Sunday as many as 479 people above 18 years of age were administered first (23) and second (456) Covid vaccine doses across the district, thus bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the district to 8,35,357.
During the first & second waves 6,46,646 tests, including RAT (44,91,201)and RT-PCR (1,55,445)have been conducted to date in district among them 11326 were tested positive out of which 11071 have recovered while 238 died including 183 during the second wave.
Enforcement Teams (ETs) fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Sunday and have recovered a fine of Rs 17,900 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 67,39,334.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
