Four positive cases found in Rajouri, ETs recovered Rs 17,920 from violators

Rajouri, Nov 14: Out of 2041 reports received, four positive cases were found positive in the Rajouri district on Sunday.
There are now 11 active cases in the district at present while no patient was recovered today.
On Friday four positive cases were also detected in the district, including three local persons and one BSF constable who came from outside the district.
Out of eleven active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, one in the Army /BSF hospital, and eight are in home isolation.
Surprisingly, out of four positive cases, two patients aged 38 & 35 years respectively, are yet to be vaccinated, which exposes the tall claims of the health Department of 103% vaccination for the first dose for 18-44 years age group in the district.
As per the daily bulletin issued on Sunday, as many as 2401 people above 18 years of age were administered first (53) and second (2348) Covid vaccine doses across the district, thus bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the district to 8,12,982.
During the first & second waves 6,18,845 tests, including RAT (4,67,442)and RT-PCR (1,51,403) have been conducted till Sunday in the district & among them, 11292 were tested positive out of which 11044 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
As per the media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4, 45,052 people have been tested for Covid-virus infection to date, out of which 7419 were tested active
Enforcement Teams (ETs) fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Sunday have recovered a fine of Rs 17,920 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 62,75,504.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
