Enforcement Teams collect fine Rs 25,150 from violators of Covid SOPs

Rajouri, Oct 28: Enforcement Teams (ETs) also fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Thursday & have recovered a fine of Rs 25,150 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 58,90,584.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain collect
physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
Out of 1489 reports received on Thursday one person was found Covid positive in Rajouri district.
At present, there are 7 active cases in the district, while no Covid patient was recovered today.
Out of seven active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, two in the Army (BSF) hospital and one is under treatment in SKIMS at Srinagar while two are in home isolation.
On Thursday, as many as 1558 people above 18 years of age were administered first (158) and second (1400) Covid vaccine doses across the district.
During the first & second waves 5,93,926 tests, including RAT (4,47,122) and RT-PCR (1,46,804), have been conducted in the district till Thursday, 11272 were tested positive out of which 11028 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
As per the District media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4,22,000 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7398 were tested active and among them 182 died.
