Police arrests drug peddler with 2.3-kgs of cannabis

Jammu, Oct 5: Police on Tuesday arrested one drug peddler with contraband of cannabis in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here said that continuing its efforts against drug peddling and narcotics trade, one peddler was apprehended with charas (cannabis) in Thanamandi area during checking.
Police team stopped one load carrier for checking and on searching him, 2.3-kgs of charas was recovered from the possession of one person named Munawar Hussain of Choudhary Nar, District Rajouri.
Police have registered a case and started the investigation under relevant sections while investigation is in progress.
