Complaint against work going on in Govt Polytechnic Jammu be considered
*The role of Principal of Government Polytechnic Jammu is dubious and it should be enquired by CBI.
The dead building cannot be made alive by any mean but Executive Engineer is hell bent to do it that too putting the lives of students in risk.
Jammu, Feb 21:
Despite a serious complaint was lodged by a complainant in context to the bugling and misuse of developmental funds by the Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer and contractor of Division No 1, Public Works Department that too under the nose of Principal and other senior staff members in Government Polytechnic Jammu, there has been no any scar of action over the complaint, which has shocked the petitioner and the system is going as it is.
I am going to expose a big embezzlement made in Government Polytechnic Jammu as per the complainant that a contractor was allotted a work of renovation of old automobile workshop for CIIIT courses. The real issue is that the building in question has been build in 1965 and presently it has been completely in shabby condition and there is no chance that the said building can be renovated for further use. The building is already built on pillars and the pillars have lost strength already. This is also said that iron bars used in the said pillars in 1965 now has been rusted and some had been cracked, and it is not more than garbage. As per the complainant the entire building can collapse anytime as per the report of the civil department of this institute.
Ironically the contractor has guessed the actual condition of the building and has submitted a report in writing to the concerned Executive Engineer that the present structure is not safe for renovation as the building cannot bear extra load and it can collapse anytime in near future so it would be better to construct a new building but the corrupt instincts of the Executive Engineer and other PWD officials directed the contractor to complete the renovation process of the said building that too on war footing.
