WBF Chairman Pt Ravi Kant Sharma pledges support for Brahmin community welfare in J&K

Jammu, Jan 5: The Jammu & Kashmir unit of the World Brahmin Federation (WBF) extended a warm welcome to Pt Ravi Kant Sharma, the Chairman of WBF, with a special presentation of a memento engraved with the image of Bhagwan Lord Shri Parshuram Ji. The occasion marked a significant discussion about the current situation of the Brahmin community across the country, particularly in Jammu & Kashmir.

The delegation, led by the Working President of Jammu & Kashmir WBF, Pt RC Sharma, commended Pt Ravi Kant Sharma for his dedicated services towards the welfare of Brahmins nationwide, especially his support for the underprivileged members of the community. The team included Opender Sharma and Ashwani Sharma, who joined the discussions on pressing issues affecting the Brahmin community in Jammu & Kashmir.

During the meeting, the delegation raised concerns about the hardships faced by Brahmins in the region, attributing many of these difficulties to the indifferent attitude of the local government. A key point of discussion was the long-pending issue of the establishment of a Brahmin Development Board, a critical initiative aimed at supporting the community’s growth and well-being. The Chairman, Pt Ravi Kant Sharma, assured the delegation of his commitment to addressing these issues and promised to advocate for welfare measures that benefit Brahmins in Jammu & Kashmir.

Adding to the discussions, National Vice President of WBF, Pt Dharmender Sharma, expressed solidarity with the Brahmin community of Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing that Brahmins across the country stand united with them during every challenge. He reiterated that under the leadership of Pt Ravi Kant Sharma, the WBF has been actively engaging with the government to push for effective measures that ensure the welfare of the Brahmin community.
