Hotel should be bulldozed!
- The government must bulldoze the hotel of a businessman who is skilled for malpractices and other illegalities, so that people can trust the administration.
- The land is commercial but the said businessman had not paid fee with accordance to commercial which has created a great loss to state exchequer.

Jammu, Dec 28: How can a businessman grab the state land (under the occupation of irrigation department), which is prime land in Channi Rama and construct a luxurious hotel on it? How can a decree without having proper number of the issuing office (only date mentioned) can work for vesting occupation rights to the businessman? Why have not the revenue officers mentioned the decree number on the revenue record during conferring the ownership right to the businessman? Either Decree has no number or the then concerned officer deliberately missed to mention the number on ownership/revenue record for some particular purpose to hide something. Is he so influential that he can play with the law of land for his vested interest? These are some typical questions irritating in the mind of people and the government has to come out with specific reply over this so that people may get proper reply.
It is story of businessman who started his life from poverty but now he is millionaire and he himself thinks that he the most powerful; person and law of land is very small infront him. He has engineered a conspiracy and managed to get the ownership of state land and the same land was owned by the irrigation department. The land in question is recorded as both private and state land mentioned in the ownership column. As per the revenue law, if the land has to be transferred in the name of new owner then it has to be mentioned in the ownership column that from whose part the land has withdrawn and has been entered in the name of new owner. Here I mean to say that land surely belongs to someone let it be private person, individual, government department, or state land but there is no chance that land remained no one land. But in this case the land in question has been transferred to family member of the businessman but it has been not mentioned that from whose part land has been transferred. This is the biggest flaw and indicates that land was not private land and it could not be transferred to other person.
It is crystal clear that process for transferring land on the name of his family members is not accordance with the J&K revenue law and should be declared as an illegal possession, besides immediately bulldozed to restore the faith of people.
Not only this, the then revenue officer has wreaked an illegal act to transfer the land to his family members by changing the Khasra No and gave a new Khasra No which is not part of the prevailing revenue record. This is biggest blunder in the history of revenue department J&K and it is biggest indicator that the land belongs to state and is sufficient to demolish the illegally constructed hotel on encroached land.
