- There should be random checking of doctors’ prescription to know the intention of doctors.
- The Pharma employees should not be allowed to meet doctors expect any training programme.

Jammu, Oct 12: Barring Health & Medical Education Department, the General Administrative Department came in action to strike on the nexus built by the Pharma companies with doctors and officials posted at administrative department of Health & Medical Education Department but the action is too little like a drop in the ocean. The administrative department of Health & Medical Education Department remained mute spectator over the nexus as to silently allow the nexus to work and mange the transfers and postings of doctors.
The Jammu Jottings has exposed the nexus and published news item regarding the built-in nexus of Doctors-Pharma Companies and officials in Administrative Department of Health & Medical Education in the issue of September 22 of this year that how they manage the transfers and postings and how doctors compensate the Pharma companies by prescribing unnecessary and costly medicines to the patients. The innocent patient has to pay the price sometime by getting their health condition deteriorated by the use of unnecessary medicine but there is no one to check these greedy and voracious doctors who are crueler than any wild animal.
Such nexus is not new but it was limited and confined to birthday parties, curtains, pen gift and other items but now they have become pharma syndicates and on their directions the Health & Medical Education Department make transfer and postings of Doctors.
The transfer of one Head Assistant is not sufficient as he might be a small fish but the big fishes in this scam are still there and doing their job as they want to do. The one thing GAD can do the catch the big fishes that their mobiles should be investigated to expose their conversations. It should be also noted that how many times the owners of Pharma Company visit the civil secretariat and for what purpose they visit.
