Condition of STD II at Ashok Nagar in shambles, needs immediate attention

Playing with electricity is very dangerous!

• The cables are lying in haphazard manner in the premises of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar and it is very risky to enter.
   The concerned AEE assured for early cleaning, not only the Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar but for all STDs in the locality.

Jammu, Sep 12: Why the PDD department is sleeping over the worst condition of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar? Who will clean the premises of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar? Why the PDD department is so callous over it? Why the PDD department has put their employees in danger who are discharging their duties in Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar? Why the PDD department not see the climbers, creepers, shrubs and herbs have wrapped up the transformers and other equipments installed in Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar? Why the big cables are not settled in the channel constructed for cables? These are the some serious concerns which should be addressed immediately so that there should be no loss of transformers and other things with such worst condition.
The condition of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar is very miserable condition. The transformers and other costly equipments installed in the premises of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar are in danger as the climbers, creepers and bushes have wrapped up the transformers and other costly equipments. The living climbers sometime behave as good conductor for electricity, which can damage the transformers and other costly equipments. This is not the end of problem but after the damage of equipments the people have to suffer the unscheduled and unexpected power cut which would purely due to carelessness of the concerned PDD officers.
The big cables are lying hither and thither in a haphazard manner and posing the threats for employees those who have to discharge their duties in the premises of condition of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar. At some places the insulation of cables has been erased and posing different kind of threats to anyone.
When I contacted the concerned AEE to know about the condition of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar, he replied that during rainy season the climbers and bushes have come up in the premises of condition of Sub Transmission Division II at Ashok Nagar but he would ask the concerned JE and would get it cleaned very soon. He said that often the department clean it but due to the rainy the season some bushes, creepers and climbers have grown up. He assured that not only this station but every station would be cleaned very soon. He further clarified that till date there has been no disruption in power supply due to the creepers, climbers or bushes, whereas the power is being supplied very smoothly.
