SDM Jammu North rejects report of Tehsildar Bhalwal, opt for personal visit

Why he submits incredible report?

• The Div Com Jammu is very eager to vacate the water body from the possession of land grabbers but Tehsildar Bhalwal submits irrelevant report.
• There is one Ex-Panch who has very close association to land grabbers and he provides protection to land grabbers and intimidate those person who made complaints against them.

Jammu, Jul 03: The Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North has rejected the report submitted by the Tehsildar Bhalwal on the ground that he is personally not satisfied with the report as there is much variation in the land record and the material mentioned in report. The Naib Tehsildar also substantiated the statement of SDM Jammu North and said that they would visit the spot and get the status report verified. He said that owner of Brick Kiln has dumped more than 50000 bricks on the controversial land of water body and how they can submit such irrelevant report. The concerned Patwari has done rigging already in connection of land allotment and with illegal mean he has issued the Farad of Gair Mumkin Jaad at Burn faling under Khasra No 1922. How can one expect a genuine report from such patwari, who is expert in wreaking illegalities in the revenue record. It is pertinent to mention that the some people have approached the Divisional Commissioner Jammu that M/S Maha Laxmi Brick Kilin Dayaran Kangrial and others have encroached the land falling under Khasra No 177 measuring 28 kanals 12 marlas situated at Kangrail including a water body land ‘Mufeed-e-Aam Chhapri’ and the same should be demarcated and vacated from the land grabbers who have grabbed the land. The office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu has asked the office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu to take immediate action in this regard. The Divisional Commissioner office letter No 502/Misc/Jmu/22/299 dated 24-05-2022 says as ‘In this regard, I am directed to request you to kindly take appropriate action in the matter after getting the matter enquired by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North and an action taken report be furnished to this office.’ The letter was signed by Dr Pritam Lal JKAS Assistant Commissioner (Central) with Divisional Commissioner Jammu along with four pages. The Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu (Law & Order) Minga Sherpa IAS vide his office No DCJ/Comp-Div Com/2022-23/157 dated 09-06-2022 shot a letter to Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North with the direction to get the matter inquired within one week’s time positively. The Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North without wasting the time referred the matter to Tehsildar Bhalwal vide his office No SDM/JN/Misc/22-23/356 dated 10-06-2022 and asked him to submit report within seven days. But now 24 days have passed the concerned Tehsildar has not bothered to consider the issue of land grabbing as an important issue and he not submitted an iota of report in this concern. Now the issue is that who will work in place of Tehsildar Bhalwal as he hardly care for any officer let it be Deputy Commissioner Jammu or Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
