Internecine grips Congress!
- Hunger of power cannot be quenched but senior leaders must also work for the
party as they have enjoyed power due to Congress part and now they have to
return a little to party.

Jammu, Jul 15: The political scenario in Jammu & Kashmir is very dim as the people are fed up with almost all the political parties, as per the people these political parties have ditched the people of every section and almost of every region. The political activities in Jammu are almost like negligible among the people but only the era of press conferences is going on.
The Congress party which is still considered as main opposition is a divided house especially In Jammu & Kashmir and the party is in morass. The groupism has gripped the party like a leech hold a piece of meat but in Jammu & Kashmir there is no one who can take out the party from the groupism.
The groupism in the party is not new as it has inherited by the senior leaders like late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and Ghulam Nabhi Azad. When late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was the president of Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and during his period Ghulam Nabi Azad was sent to center committee of party and the then groupism started between Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and Ghulan Nabi Azad.
It is hardcore truth till then the Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee could not get rid from the groupism but it has deepened its root with each passing day. Instead of reducing the groupism, the party leaders have fueld the groupism in Jammu & Kashmir.
Among the Congress leaders from Jammu & Kashmir, Ghulam Nabhi Azad is enough lucky to enjoy power for longest period as compared to any other leader even in the country. He remained in power during the period of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, PV Narsimha Rao and Manmohan Singh till 2014. Not only this, when the Congress remained out of power then Ghulam Nabi Azad had been elected as Leader of Opposition status equal to Cabinet Minister.
Being the senior most leader of the Congress party Ghulam Nabi Azad failed to contain the groupism in the part but some insiders told that the internecine and groupism is mostly due to Ghulam nabi Azad, which some where seems to be correct portion.
In the Congress especially in Jammu & Kashmir, there is no leader who is working for the party. Most of the leader himself understood that they are Congress and where they live the Congress starts from there. Moreover, the Congress has no clear vision over the election in case the government announces assembly election within a month and I feel that AAP will do much better then Congress in Jammu & Kashmir.
The senior Congress leaders are creating mess for the Congress workers resulting impediment for grassroots level worker to work in his/her areas. During the municipal election Congress could not do better in Jammu city and even in DDC election Congress performance was remained dismal.
The controversial over the president ship of Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has damaged the party image and disheartened the party workers even some hardcore party workers have joined other political parties are went silent.
Now it is the bigger responsibility of the Ghulam Nabi Azad to revive the party in the state and now he has to voluntarily give up the desire to be nominated as Rajya Sabha member but he must project a hard core party worker to have a chance to enter Rajya Sabha. It is time for Ghulam Nabi Azad to serve the party so that he may get rid off from party debit.
