The constitution of India has given right to the citizen of India to get any sort of information through filing RTI but RTO Jammu has its own kingdom against the Indian constitution.

Why the office of RTO Jammu has failed to provide information to the applicant even lapse of 56 days? Why the office of RTO Jammu is not taking the RTI application seriously? Why the office of RTO Jammu is openly defying the RTI Act by not providing reply within the stipulated time? Why the office of RTO Jammu is challenging the President of India by defying the President Rule in J&K? Why the office of RTO Jammu has no respect for the law of land? Why the office of RTO Jammu has no regard for the constitution of India? Why the office of RTO Jammu is taking lightly the most important RTI Act? Why the office of RTO Jammu has no respect for Transport Commissioner? Why the office of RTO Jammu thinks himself the supreme office of the J&K? These are some tough and uncomfortable but most relevant questions for RTO Jammu and Transport Commissioner to make reply so that people may know the truth.
One applicant has filed an RTI in the office of Transport Commissioner, Government of Jammu & Kashmir on 25-10-2021 vide receipt No 1881/TC and the TC office forwarded the same RTI application to the office of Public Information Officer of RTO Jammu vide his letter No TC/JK/RTI/2021/3097-98 dated 27-10-2021 and the same has been received by the said office too. Even the office of TC has forwarded the RTI through email to office of RTO Jammu but after the lapse of 56 days the office of RTO Jammu failed to provide the information sought by the applicant. The information seeker has tried to know about the authorized specification of commercial busses used for passenger services including height, width, length and seats dimensions besides sleepers’ dimensions. He also wanted to know the number of sleeper busses plying Jammu-Delhi route with proper authorization of transport department and so on, which are best in the interest of the public but the office of RTO Jammu has its own ideology may be anti-people mindset. There are unconfirmed reports that in the office of RTO Jammu only ‘money makes the mere go.’
