Rajouri, September 22: Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his straight visit to Rajouri & Poonch districts addressed largely attended election rallies in favour of BJP candidates at Mendhar, Surankote (in Poonch district) and Rajouri & Nowshera (in Rajouri district).
At Nowshera, while addressing a massive rally on Sunday (September 22) Amit Shah gave indication that State President Ravinder Raina, BJP candidate from Nowshera constituency will play a major role if BJP elected to power in J&K.
“At every place people elect MLA. We have given you an already trained Minister. Elect him MLA from Nowshera and I assure you to make him a bigwig (important person),” said Amit Shah.
Is it an indication that Ravinder Raina will head the next government, if BJP elected to power.
Like in other rallies, Amit Shah lambasted the National Conference, Congress and PDP for the miseries of people they faced during their regimes including dark days of terrorism.
While commenting on suggestions for holding talks with Pakistan, the Home Minister said: “If Pakistan doesn’t stop terrorism, there can be no talks,”.
He also declared that as NC & Congress alliance planning, no stone pelter 0r terrorist would be released from the jails.
On demand for more bunkers in border areas, Amit Shah said that there is no more need for that. Earlier Pakistan frequently restores firing on LoC.
“Now Pakistan is afraid of PM Narendra Modi. They will not indulge in firing any more as they know that every single Goli (bullet) will be retaliated with Gola (shell)”, said Amit Shah.
On Farooq Abdullah’s claim that they will bring back Article 370 & Shaikh Abdullah’s flag, Union Minister Amit Shah said: “Three generations already gone and three more can’t bring it back. Only country’s Tricolour will wave in Lal Chowk in J&K”.
Castigating Farooq Abdullah & Rahul Gandhi for their statements for reversing reservation to the Pahari community, Amit Shah said that no one can scrap reservation. Rather we will extend it to reservation in promotions also.
He said both these parties are responsible for miseries of Paharis as Congress and NC denied the benefits of reservation to Paharis and tribals for decades.
Amit Shah criticised Abdullah for being absent for about 3000 days & enjoying holidays in the UK during periods of unrest in J&K when Kashmiris faced terrorism, violence, & curfews.
Reacting to Omar Abdullah’s remarks that terrorism will re-erupt in J&K, Amit Shah said: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I as Home Minister will never allow terrorism to enter J&K,”.
He also criticised NC for their commitment to change the name of revered Shankaracharya Hill & Hari Parbat (in Srinagar) and said that no power can change these names.
He also said that BJP will bring out white papers after elections are over on the misdeeds of these three parties.
He promised to construct two tourist cities in Rajouri & Poonch on the pattern of Phalgam (Kashmir) to explore the beauty of this region and make the region a hub for tourists.
Union Minister Amit S appealed to people of this region to vote in favour of BJP candidates to defeat Pakistan’s nefarious design of fuelling terrorism, to teach a strong lesson to Pakistan and to bring peace, stability, progress, development in J&K.
