Kalidhar forest scam is biggest!
- The PCCF, CCF Jammu and CF Jammu avoided to take the phone calls from Jammu Jottings, which is matter of concern.
- The Principal Secretary Dheeraj Gupta has taken initiative to book the scammers who are involved in the Forest Khair scam of Kalidhar Range.

Jammu, Apr 25: Taking the issue of illegal and fraudulently cutting/feeling of Khair trees in Thandi Choi falling under Kalidhar Range very seriously, the government has ordered an independent enquiry to bring out all the skeletons from the cupboard of Kalidhar range as this range very corrupt and in past too there were huge illegal felling of Khair trees and the Ranger is same. The Principal Secretary to Government of Jammu & Kashmir of Forest, Ecology & Environment Department Dheeraj Gupta told about the ordering of an independent enquiry by the government of Jammu & Kashmir.

face that there is a strong nexus of officers of forest department, police, revenue department and timber smugglers hell bent to destroy the green gold of the Jammu & Kashmir for their petty benefit. The forest is the back-bone of Jammu & Kashmir but the said nexus has been operating in the Kalidhar Range for several years and this is the second biggest illegal feeling of Khair trees during the period of same Ranger who was also there when the illegal felling of Khair trees were done and he minutely supervised and even one can say he minutely felicitated,
The Principal Secretary Dheeraj Gupta very clearly said on telephone that no one will be spared if found involved in this illegal felling of Khair trees from the Forest land. He replied to a query about the erasing of evidences during this period, he categorically said that the enquiry will be done minutely and it would hardly matter to dig out the facts. Confidently he said that the enquiry ordered by government will enquire the scam of illegally cutting of Khair trees from the Forest land, minutely.
Most intriguing part of the story that no one from supervisory upto Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Jammu & Kashmir dared to attend the phone calls from journalists working in Jammu Jottings to update about the departmental enquiry or action as we have cracked the news as it is our legitimate duty to follow the news story of illegal feeling of Khair trees from Forest land. But the Principal Secretary Dheeraj Gupta who was out of state has attended the phone and replied to the quarries. He categorically suggested Jammu Jottings to call PCCF J&K, CCF Jammu, CF Jammu and DFO Jammu but he was told that no one has bothered to attend the call from Jammu Jottings.
