BMO Darhal sought explanations from all & stopped April month’s salaries of 7

Rajouri April 25: After a video went viral on social media platforms about the unauthorised absence of 4 staff members, including a doctor, during the night shift at the Community Health Center (CHC) at Thanamandi, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) has sought an explanation from all.
BMO, Darhal Health Block has also stopped the April month’s salaries of three employees and directed them to report at his office at Darhal for further duties.
The employees who were to be on night duty at CHC Thanamandi on April 23 as per roaster include Dr. Sidra Dar (MO); Shanaz Akhter (FMPHW); Guftar Ahmed Wani (F/W) & Shamsher Hussain (MTS).
“As you (all) were to be on night duty as per roaster, but were found unauthorisedly absent from duty on 23/4/2023 without intimation or prior permission by the undersigned (BMO), which create a great problem for the administration as well as patient heal care” read BMO’s explanation letters.
Meanwhile, after the viral video,Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Rajinder Kumar paid a surprise visit to the Thanamandi area and inspected CHC, at Thanamandi and Primary Health Center (PHC) at Shadra Sharief (at about 2.30 pm).
CMO found four employees on unauthorised absence from their duties at Shadra Sharief PHC.
Further explanation was also sought from all the absent employees by BMO on the direction of the CMO.
BMO has also stopped their April month salaries and directed them to report at his office at Darhal for further duties.
As per the roaster, these employees were on routine morning duties. They have been identified as Nissar Hussain, Shafiq Ahmed (both Laboratory technician), Rahilla Tabasum, & Shaida Dar (both FMPHW-NHM).
